Job summary

Qualifications

• Current CA RN license is required.
• Education as required by certification/licensure; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year RN experience in area of specialty or 1 year RN experience in Critical Care or Emergency Department.
• Preferred experience: 2+ years as RN in area of specialty.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS-Healthcare Provider, and PALS.

Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group within the unit.
• Supervise and direct activities of nursing and ancillary personnel.
• Coordinate plan of care with client, family, and interdisciplinary team.
• Ensure compliance with CA Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards of practice.
• Observe and direct patient lifts and mobilization; participate in patient handling as needed.
