Job summary

Advanced Surgery Center of North County in Escondido, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse - PreOp PACU for PRN shifts. You will provide continuity and high-quality care to patients emerging from general anesthesia, monitor their condition, and ensure safety, comfort, and privacy throughout recovery.

Starting pay range is $50.00 to $62.00 per hour, depending on experience. The role requires CA nursing licensure, CPR/ACLS, and at least two years in PACU within a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Current CA Nursing License
• CPR and ACLS certifications (AHA)
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• 2+ years PACU experience in a hospital setting
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Demonstrates accountability, professionalism, openness, to change and innovation

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care for patients emerging from anesthesia
• Continuous evaluation of patient condition to ensure safety, comfort and privacy
• Coordinate care and plan discharge with patient and family when appropriate
• Maintain aseptic technique and infection control standards
