Job summary

Rideout Memorial Hospital in Marysville is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shift to backfill a 40-hour schedule with a 10-hour shift pattern. EPIC experience is required, with duties spanning pre/post-op and PACU coordination.

The RN will assess patients, collaborate with physicians, and coordinate care for diverse age groups while teaching discharge planning and ensuring medication safety and accurate Cerner documentation.

Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in the state of practice (CA or equivalent state).
• BSN preferred; acute care experience strongly preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required; ACLS required.
• PALS within 1 year of hire and IV Sedation within 6 months as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for assigned patient group during night shift.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge needs.
• Ensure accurate documentation and medication administration per policy.
• Delegate appropriate tasks to CNAs and student nurses.
