Job summary

This role requires independent action, daily paperwork, and coordinating with a Production Manager on corrective actions related to safety, quality, cleanliness, and labor allocation.

Qualifications

• Math and reading proficiency required.
• Ability to lift, bend, stoop, and stand for long periods.
• Regular and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Emphasize policy, procedures, and culture aligned with the Shift Supervisor to improve yield, safety, and quality.
• Perform daily paperwork and provide corrective action recommendations to Production Manager in safety, quality, cleanliness, yield, and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area; enforce rules fairly.
• Report damaged equipment and unsafe areas to Shift Supervisor; take timely corrective action.
• Initiate line start-ups on time and manage line changeovers efficiently.
• Schedule labor for full-time and agency staff; coordinate with temp labor providers.
• Monitor time and attendance, ensure interdepartmental communication to meet goals.
• Train employees on production standards, GMPs, HAACP, CCP procedures, and data recording.
