Pennsylvania Ag Connection in Hanover, PA is hiring a Packer for the 3rd shift (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM, Sunday - Thursday). You will ensure products are packaged safely and efficiently, inspecting quality and aiding in line readiness.

Qualifications

• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment and follow safety requirements.
• Strong attention to detail to identify product and packaging defects.
• Ability to follow packaging specifications and procedures.
• Ability to perform repetitive work while maintaining quality.
• Willingness to work overtime based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cartons, trays, and displays for packaging and stage materials.
• Verify packaging tools and supplies are available and functioning.
• Perform visual inspections of finished packaging for accuracy and integrity.
• Remove out-of-spec products and communicate issues to supervisors.
• Pack products according to specifications and apply correct labels.
• Seal and prepare cartons for shipment and stack on pallets.
• Move finished goods using pallet jacks where applicable.
• Keep work area clean and follow 5S practices.
• Assist with sanitation, line start-up, and equipment changeovers as needed.
• Adhere to GMPs, food safety, and safety policies.
