Job summary

Our Home in the United States seeks a reliable Packer on the 2nd shift to efficiently pack and package products per SOPs and customer requirements. This 2nd shift runs Monday through Thursday, 4:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., with opportunities to grow in a fast-paced, food-focused environment.

Responsibilities include following safety and GMP protocols, maintaining cleanliness, and acting as the shift's packing protocol lead in management's absence. Strong attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years related experience and training preferred.
• Attention to detail and be a self-starter.
• Must be able to learn and understand the Production process.
• Ability to do repetitive tasks for prolonged periods and work at a pace required to keep up with production demands.
• Understanding of the food industry and safety standards.
• Basic Math Skills Required.
• Exceptional, grammar, writing, and documentation skills required.
• Teamwork and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Have a working knowledge of all SOPs associated with the packer position.
• Compliance required with safety procedures and programs.
• Responsible for cleaning and sanitation of production areas and supporting equipment, food safety, and following GMP protocols.
• Serves as primary point of contact for packing protocols for the employees on their shift when management is not present.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by Our Home management.
