Job summary

Kelly Services in Marion, NC is hiring a Packaging Machine Operator to support the production line in a controlled environment. You will operate packaging machines, fill and seal bags, apply labels and ensure accurate documentation of processes.

The role requires attention to safety and quality, basic English skills, and the ability to perform routine checks, cleaning, and 6S housekeeping. Shift rotates evenings, with competitive pay of $19.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematics skills.
• Ability to comprehend safety and quality instructions, work instructions.
• Ability to read and follow printed and drawn instructions.

Responsibilities

• Fill, assemble, and plug containers with solutions.
• Over-pouch and seal bags for production needs.
• Inspect bags and components to meet quality standards.
• Print labeling and barcodes; maintain printers.
• Perform scheduled cleaning and 6S housekeeping.
• Notify supervisor and take corrective action on issues.
