Job summary

Greif, Inc. is hiring a Machine Operator for the third shift to prepare equipment, set up machines, and pack finished goods. You will read work orders, measure and verify dimensions, perform quality checks, and ensure safe, efficient operation in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Typically possesses a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• Must be able to read tape measures, calipers and micrometers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare festoons, jigs, and saws and adjust for each work order using hand tools.
• Work overtime as required.
• Adhere to quality standards to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Read and interpret work orders for machine setup requirements.
• Perform periodic quality checks to ensure specifications and COAs.
• Build pallets to customer specs and manually pack finished product for shipment.
• Interact with Seltrol system and set up overwrap orders.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area; follow safety regulations.
