Job summary

Sealed Air Corporation in Simpsonville, SC is seeking a Maintenance Tech III to keep production equipment in peak condition for safe, reliable operation. This role covers preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance across electrical and mechanical systems, with exposure to extruders, presses, and automation equipment.

You will troubleshoot, perform preventive tasks, replace components, and document repair history in SAP Plant Maintenance.

Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent in Mechatronics, Electronics, Industrial Electronics or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
Military training or experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
3–5 years of relevant industrial maintenance experience with troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment (multimeters, clamp meters, megger).
Experience servicing 480VAC, 3-phase power systems for motors and electrical cabinets.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoots machines and equipment to diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic problems.
Performs preventive maintenance including lubrication, precision setups, and parts replacement.
Disassembles/reassembles machines to replace defective components and parts.
Replaces electrical components such as drives, PLCs, relays and motors.
Uses SAP Plant Maintenance to document repair activities and maintain equipment history.
Identifies root causes to prevent recurrence of failures.
