Job summary

Custom Building Products is seeking a Packager at our Grand Prairie, TX plant for a 3rd shift (Mon–Thu, 8:00 PM–6:30 AM). Overtime may be required. A $2.00/hour shift premium is added to base pay, with potential up to a $1.00/hr increase after 90 days.

You will package product on production lines and support safe, efficient operations on the floor. Responsibilities include operating machinery, coordinating with multiple departments, following schedules, and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications

• Must have great work ethic and impeccable attendance.
• Able to read and understand work orders and complex instructions.
• Solid previous work experience required.
• Forklift experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Package product and operate lines using manual, automated, or semi-automated equipment.
• Collaborate with Production, Maintenance and other departments.
• Work in a team environment with opportunities for advancement.
• Receive instructions and schedules from plant supervision.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
