Job summary

Printpack Inc. is seeking a qualified Material Handler for the Grand Prairie, TX Converting plant. You will safely move materials, maintain inventory accuracy, and support production operations on a 3/2 rotating night schedule from 7pm–7am with a $2.50/hr night shift premium.

Requirements include stand-up forklift experience and basic computer literacy; prior warehousing experience is a plus. Qualifications emphasize safety, documentation, and teamwork, with an emphasis on 5S cleanliness and

Qualifications

• Stand up forklift experience required.
• Manufacturing or warehousing experience preferred.
• Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain.
• Basic math and inventory counting skills.
• Ability to read production schedules and write documentation.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials.
• Perform safety inspections and complete required documentation.
• Load and unload trucks per schedules.
• Document inventory locations using handheld devices.
• Stage materials per production schedules.
• Move WIP pallets between machines and storage racks.
• Maintain organized storage and rack numbering.
• Conduct inventory cycle counts and maintain records.
• Follow 5S and safety procedures; participate in CI program.
