Job summary

Custom Building Products is seeking a Batch Operator for our Grand Prairie, TX plant. You will be the first step in the quality process, blending products with precise ingredient sequencing and timely execution to meet daily production goals.

This 3rd shift role runs Monday–Thursday, 8:00 PM–6:30 AM with overtime. A $2.00/hr shift premium applies, plus potential up to $1.00/hr after 90 days based on performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior batch or blending experience preferred, but training is available.
• Ability to read and understand work orders and complex instructions.
• Experience operating automated equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Follow formulas and production instructions precisely to ensure quality.
• Weigh, measure, and load ingredients into mixers; take samples and coordinate with QA.
• Operate mixing and blending equipment for cement, grout, and related products.
• Maintain production records, batch logs, and shift handoff documentation.
• Assist with packaging and material handling to support production flow.
• Follow safety procedures and OSHA requirements; wear required PPE.
