Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC is seeking 3rd Shift Order Pickers for our Fort Payne, AL distribution center. The role requires safe, accurate work and prior warehouse experience. Evening and night hours are scheduled Sunday through Thursday, with pay starting at $21.00 per hour.

You will operate powered industrial equipment, use RF scanners and voice systems, and help maintain inventory integrity while meeting safety standards and team objectives.

Qualifications

• Overtime may be required based on business demands.
• Prior warehouse, distribution, shipping, or receiving experience preferred.
• Experience operating powered industrial equipment (stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, order selectors, dock stockers) preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate powered industrial equipment in accordance with OSHA guidelines and Ferguson safety procedures.
• Ensure inbound shipments are received and registered correctly; sort, stage, store, and transport product to assigned locations.
• Perform daily tasks using RF scanners, voice systems, and/or labor management systems.
• Build, wrap, label, and organize pallets, containers, and materials to maintain inventory integrity.
• Maintain product accuracy, quality, and safety while following standard operating procedures for assigned task areas.
• Communicate effectively with team members and support a team-oriented work environment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace; participate in ongoing housekeeping efforts.
• Adhere to all safety requirements, including PPE and fall-protection equipment when required.
• Participate in team meetings and communicate concerns or improvement opportunities to management.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support operational needs.
