Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support the Labor & Delivery Operating Room in Voorhees, NJ. This part-time, per diem role offers a night shift with an hourly rate working within an on-site hospital setting.

Under RN/Physician direction, you will manage instruments, supplies, and equipment during procedures, ensuring sterility and patient safety while supporting nursing and ancillary teams as needed.

Qualifications

• One year OR Training or Experience.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology Training Program.
• BLS. Surgical Technologist Certification preferred
• Maintenance of New Jersey State required 15 CEs per year.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs for, prepares, sets-up and assists during any surgical procedure and provides support to nursing and ancillary departments by transporting and transferring patients to and between units when necessary.
• Prepares instruments and supplies for future procedures.
• Collects and handles specimens according to policy and procedures.
