RWJBarnabas Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room in Jersey City. This part-time night shift role combines skilled perioperative care with collaboration across the care team.

The ideal candidate holds a NJ RN license, BLS certification, and 2–3 years OR experience, with CNOR preferred and BSN in progress. EPIC proficiency is expected and weekend/on-call duties apply. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• CNOR preferred.
• BSN required or actively enrolled in BSN program with expected completion date.
• 2-3 years Operating Room RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, evidence-based perioperative nursing care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to maintain standards of practice.
• Document care accurately in EPIC EMR.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and post-op care.
• Participate in rounds and care coordination to ensure seamless transitions.
