Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina seeks a RN - Charge Nurse to manage nightly operational oversight and ensure high-quality patient care. You will collaborate with the healthcare team to achieve outcomes and help lead the unit.

Qualifications include a BSN or ADN/Diploma with progress toward BSN, at least two years in an OR nursing role, and completion of MUHA Charge Nurse orientation within six months of hire. BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing or Associate/Diploma degree in nursing are required.
• If Associate/Diploma degree, must be enrolled in an accredited BSN program within two years and obtain BSN within four years.
• A minimum of two years of work experience as a registered nurse in an OR designated area of practice is required.
• Attendance in the Charge Nurse Workshop and successful MUHA Orientation within 6 months of hire are required.
