Job summary

Nestlé Health Science in Savannah, GA seeks an Operator to operate various machinery in a night-shift manufacturing environment. The role ensures the quality and quantity of products by following SOPs and GMPs. Shift: Night shift, 7PM-7AM; Schedule: 12-Hour, 2/2/3.

The ideal candidate has 0–2 years in a factory, a high school diploma or GED, basic math, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Proficiency in English and use of digital devices is required.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a factory environment preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Required to utilize basic digital devices such as computers, iPad, etc.
• Ability to follow safety procedures including Nestle’s Life Saving Rules.
• Ability to speak, read, write in English and comprehend simple instructions.
• Physical ability to repetitively lift up to 50 lbs., stand, climb, bend, etc.

Responsibilities

• Match labels with batch records to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of common machine faults and perform routine maintenance as per operator's manuals.
• Load, unload, set-up, clean, adjust and disassemble machinery as needed.
• Maintain high attention to detail for procedures and documentation.
• Report damage or inconsistent materials to supervisor or lead.
• Assist with overflow jobs in operations when needed.
• Demonstrate attention to detail during data entry on paper, devices, or tablets.
• Adhere to SOPs and cGMP standards to maintain quality.
