Job summary

Colgate-Palmolive in Morristown, TN, seeks an Operations Technician for a 2-2-3 shift (6:00 PM–6:30 AM) in a climate-controlled, automated facility. You will operate equipment, perform changeovers, and support quality and safety programs.

You will collaborate with logistics and quality teams, apply GMP and FDA standards, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining a clean, organized work area to support production goals.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ year experience in manufacturing, military, or related production ops
• Adhere to safety and EOHS standards, using PPE
• Stand for 8-12 hours per shift
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds; ascend/descend ladders and stairs

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain automated equipment; perform changeovers
• Ensure GMPs and FDA standards; complete compliance documentation
• Coordinate product preparation and shipping with warehouse teams
• Drive continuous improvement using 5 Whys and RCA
• Maintain clean, safe work area and support stakeholders and retailers
• Address safety and environmental standards while meeting production goals
