Job summary

Fanatics Maintenance Technician role based in Frazeysburg, OH, focuses on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repairs for conveyors and material-handling systems within a high-volume fulfillment center.

You will use blueprints and diagnostic tools to diagnose issues, work safely at heights, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet throughput targets during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of related experience or education in material handling equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems using blueprints/schematics.
• Hands-on with motor controls, PLCs, VFDs, Soft Starts, Servo Drives, and external I/O devices.
• Fabrication skills for repairs/modifications to equipment/structures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office for work order documentation.
• Work at heights using ladders/aerial lifts and in non-climate-controlled environments.
• Flexible hours, able to follow instructions with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Communicate equipment issues clearly to maintenance teammates and operations staff to minimize disruption.
• Prioritize and sequence repair work with operations to align with throughput goals.
• Share technical knowledge and reinforce safety and accountability across maintenance.
• Maintain conveyor and sortation systems to enable on-time order fulfillment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on conveyors, building equipment, and PIT.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using drawings and diagnostic tools.
