Corewell Health’s Big Rapids Hospital is seeking a part-time Night shift RN in the Women Infant Svcs Unit OB Delivery Postpartum 2S. This role supports a family-centered maternity care model in a 24-hour operation with 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. shifts and variable days.

Eligible candidates hold an RN with an Associate’s (or Bachelor’s) in nursing, Michigan RN license, and BLS/ACLS certs. Fetal heart monitoring cred is preferred. Comprehensive benefits and a safety-first culture await.

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's in Nursing required within 5 years.
• MI Registered Nurse (RN) required.
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days.
• AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months.
• CRT-Fetal Heart Monitoring Certification – 2yrs required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers nursing care responsibly and according to the ANA and state standards.
• Demonstrates competency through the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Upholds professional standards including ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice and research.
