Job summary

McLaren Health Care's obstetrics unit is seeking a dedicated RN for the night shift (7:00 pm – 7:30 am) with a biweekly schedule of 72 hours. The unit requires a Michigan RN license and BLS certification. ACLS/NRP/PALS requirements depend on unit policy.

You will assess patients, implement the plan of care, and supervise ancillary staff to ensure high-quality maternal care during nights.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current State of Michigan RN license.
• BLS certification as Healthcare Provider (AHA or Red Cross).
• ACLS/NRP/PALS requirements vary by unit; listed per department policy and timing.

Responsibilities

• Assess each patient, document and evaluate response to care, and take corrective action as needed.
• Plan and implement the patient’s plan of care and provide teaching per care standards.
• Oversee ancillary personnel for technical tasks.
