BayCare Health System is seeking a part-time RN for the Mother/Baby Unit at Morton Plant. The RN will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, develop and update plans of care, and identify risks to ensure patient safety. A NICU?

no; focus is mother/baby acute care in hospital setting. The role requires an active RN license, BLS, NRP, and at least one year of RN acute care experience; an Associate Degree in Nursing is required, with Mother/Baby RN experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• The registered nurse collaborates and communicates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in plan of care
• Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others
• Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment.
