Job summary

Intermountain Health in Butte, MT is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Labor & Delivery, Mom/Baby, and NICU with mostly night shifts.

You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, supervise LPNs/CNAs, and participate in clinical team conferences while following hospital policies.

BSN within 4 years, MT RN license, BLS, PALS, NRP, and fetal monitoring training are required or timelines; previous OB/NICU/L&D experience preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN degree within 4 years unless 15 years of acute care service.
• Current State of Montana RN License required.
• BLS Certification on hire.
• PALS required within 9 months of hire/transfer.
• NRP required within 12 months of hire.
• AHWONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring within 12 months.

• Assess, recognize and address patients' physical and psychological needs.
• Foster quality of care with patients' and families' best interests in mind.
• Communicate compassionately and effectively.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
• Follow evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and CNAs; participate in team conferences.
• Adhere to hospital policies and regulatory guidelines.
