Job summary
Intermountain Health — St James Hospital in Butte, Montana seeks a Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery, Mom/Baby and NICU units. This full‑time night‑shift role requires strong OB/NICU background and proper licensure, with occasionally daytime shifts to meet staffing.
The RN will assess patients, coordinate care, and supervise LPNs/CNAs in a collaborative team setting. The nurse must have a BSN within four years (or longer if qualifying prior), MT RN license, BLS, PALS within 9 months, NRP
Qualifications
- BSN degree from an accredited program; required within 4 years unless 15 years of acute care service
- Current State of Montana RN License
- BLS Certification upon hire
- PALS required within 9 months of hire
- NRP/Neonatal Resuscitation required within 12 months of hire
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring within 12 months of hire
Responsibilities
- Assess, recognize and address patients' physical and psychological needs
- Foster quality of care with the best interests of patients and families in mind
- Communicate compassionately and effectively
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Comply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines
- Oversee care delivered by LPNs and/or CNAs
- Participate in clinical team conferences
- Follow hospital policies and procedures
