Job summary

Intermountain Health in Butte, Montana is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Labor & Delivery, Mom/Baby and NICU with mostly night shifts. The role requires overseeing LPNs/CNAs, participating in clinical conferences and delivering evidence-based patient care.

BSN is required within four years unless you have long acute care experience. Montana RN license, BLS on hire, and PALS/NRP/Level monitoring within set timeframes are required; a national certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN degree from an accredited program required within 4 years unless 15 years of acute care service.
• Current Montana RN license.
• BLS certification upon hire.
• PALS within 9 months of hire / transfer.
• NRP/Neonatal Resuscitation within 12 months of hire.
• AHWONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring within 12 months of hire.
• Preferred: National certification in area of practice.

Responsibilities

• Assess, recognize and address patients' psychological and physical needs.
• Foster quality of care with the best interests of patients and families.
• Communicate compassionately and effectively.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and/or CNAs.
• Participate in clinical team conferences.
• Follow hospital, regulatory and professional guidelines, policies and procedures.
