Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery, NICU and Mom/Baby units in Butte, MT. The role is primarily night shift with some daytime coverage to meet unit needs. RN with OB/NICU experience is preferred and a BSN is required within four years for new hires.

The position requires Montana RN licensure, BLS on hire, and certification in PALS, NRP, and fetal monitoring within specified timelines. You will work in a high‑acuity setting with ongoing education and teamwork.

Qualifications

• BSN degree within 4 years unless 15 years of acute care service.
• Current Montana RN license, BLS required on hire, PALS within 9 months, NRP within 12 months, AHWONN fetal monitoring within 12 months.
• Preferred: national certification in area of practice.

Responsibilities

• Assess, recognize and address patients' psychological and physical needs.
• Foster quality of care with patients' and families' best interests in mind.
• Communicate compassionately and effectively with the care team.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and document per guidelines.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and CNAs; participate in clinical team conferences.
• Follow hospital policies, regulatory and professional guidelines.
