North Mississippi Health Services seeks a House Supervisor to lead nursing units, coordinate staffing, and respond to emergencies. The role oversees a team to ensure efficient patient care aligned with the medical plan of care.

The incumbent will collaborate with transfer centers, supervise performance, and ensure staff receive appropriate leadership training and ongoing education in a changing healthcare environment.

Formación

• Must maintain current knowledge of nursing standards of practice, regulatory and accrediting agencies.
• Must meet continuing education requirements.
• Must maintain knowledge to provide age-appropriate care for pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
• Supervises staffing of nursing personnel on each tour of duty.
• Directs/implements nursing plan of care and bed assignments during high census.

Responsabilidades

• Provides leadership to nursing units and acts as role model for staff and peers.
• Organizes and manages nursing service activities within each unit.
• Coordinates with Transfer Center on patient bed assignments.
• Supervises staff performance and conducts yearly appraisals.
• Responds to codes and clinical emergencies and ensures safe patient care.
