Job summary
McPherson Hospital, Inc. seeks a House Supervisor to act as an extension of administration, providing nursing leadership and coordinating care across shifts. You will manage staffing, resources, and operations to sustain quality patient care and safety across units.
The role requires recent clinical leadership in a hospital setting, Kansas RN licensure, and certifications (ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC) within one year. Night shift, full-time, on-site position with competitive benefits.
Qualifications
- Active Kansas RN license and nursing practice.
- BSN preferred; leadership experience encouraged.
- ACLS, PALS, NRP and TNCC certifications within one year.
- NIH Stroke Scale competency within one year.
Responsibilities
- Proactively align resources across shifts to ensure patient care.
- Lead and collaborate with nursing and interdepartmental teams.
- Identify and resolve service delivery issues to improve quality.
- Respond to emergencies; serve as incident commander when needed.
- Communicate with leadership and maintain staffing and patient flow.
- Support EMR-related issue resolution and rounds on units.
- Assist with infection control, safety, and compliance duties.
