Job summary

The Miriam Hospital in Providence, RI seeks an experienced RN leader to oversee evening and night operations, coordinate patient care, and support nursing staff across all ages. Responsibilities include ensuring safe care delivery, facilitating consultations, and leading inservice education to reinforce competency and quality.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Rhode Island or compliant with Nurse Licensure Compact.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is required.
• 3–5 years of clinical nursing experience with leadership skills.
• Current BLS and ACLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee night/evening operations in all hospital departments.
• Coordinate patient care using the nursing process and serve as a resource for staff.
• Provide clinical consultation and supervise nursing staff across age groups.
• Ensure critical events are communicated to leadership and arrange services during night hours.
• Lead inservice education and training for the Nursing Division.
