Job summary

Bridgton Hospital is seeking a Nurse Supervisor in Nursing Administration for night shifts. You will supervise staff across the facility, monitor care quality, and assist with after-hours procedures and staffing as needed.

The role requires an RN license, BLS and ACLS with preferred BSN and prior supervision experience to maintain high-quality patient care in a 25-bed critical access setting.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license.
• BLS certification required on hire and renewed.
• ACLS certification required within 30 days of hire and renewed.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisor experience preferred.
• Minimum 3 years acute care nursing experience.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make frequent rounds to monitor care delivery and direct patient care as needed.
• Directly supervise and support all staff across the hospital.
• Extend administrative scope in the absence of hospital leadership.
• Ensure efficient operations and patient flow throughout the hospital.
• Deploy and orient temporary agency staff per policy.
• Assist with after-hours procedure scheduling and standby staff.
• Enhance patient/family experience with clear explanations of hospital policies.
