This role includes coordinating staffing, responding to emergencies, and maintaining infection control and regulatory standards.

The position requires RN licensure in Wisconsin, a Bachelor's degree preferred, and strong leadership with a track record in hospital settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred and RN license to practice in Wisconsin required upon hire.
• Minimum five years of nursing experience; hospital nursing experience preferred.
• Two years of management/leadership experience recommended.
• Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills; critical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Serve as leadership resource and initial emergency point of contact during evening/night shifts and weekends.
• Conduct regular rounds across 24/7 departments to assess needs and provide clinical guidance.
• Communicate with department leadership and provide updates on shift activity and concerns.
• Act as liaison to Infection Control and ensure infection control practices.
• Assist with staffing, patient assignments, and resource management.
• Support risk management and incident reporting per hospital policies.
