Job summary

Sharp HealthCare is seeking an experienced nurse leader to join our hospital-wide shift leadership team. The role provides supervision for staff, coordinates patient placement and flows, and ensures adherence to Interqual criteria and nursing standards during the shift.

You will collaborate with the Clinical Director and on-call administrators, manage staffing needs for the next shift, and uphold service excellence while maintaining safety and quality of care.

Qualifications

• 5 years RN experience.
• 1 year recent Charge Nurse or other management/supervisory experience.
• California RN license required.
• AHA BLS Healthcare Provider required.
• ACLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides support, guidance, and delegated administrative functions on a hospital-wide basis during a shift.
• Acts on behalf of administration and supervises staff as a representative of administration.
• Coordinates scheduling and flow of internal and external supplemental staff.
• Ensures placement of patients using Interqual criteria and maintains patient flow and outcomes.
