The role provides administrative support across the hospital during a 12-hour shift (6 PM to 6:30 AM) and supervises staff as a representative of administration, ensuring patient care standards and efficient operations.

Required: 5 years RN experience, 1 year supervisory, CA RN license, and AHA BLS. NVCI within 90 days; ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• 5 years RN experience required.
• 1 year recent charge nurse or supervisory experience.
• California RN license is required.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• NVCI within 90 days of hire or transfer.

Responsabilités

• Provide hospital-wide administrative support during shift.
• Act on behalf of administration and supervise staff.
• Coordinate scheduling and flow of internal/external staff.
• Ensure appropriate patient placement using Interqual criteria and Aionex.
• Communicate with on-call Clinical Director/Administrator on call and escalate issues.
• Optimize patient flow, outcomes and resource utilization.
