Job summary

Sharp HealthCare seeks an Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) to lead a patient care unit, ensuring safe, high-quality nursing care and regulatory compliance. The ANM will guide staff, model effective leadership, and drive improvements in daily operations.

The role requires 5+ years of RN experience (including 2+ years in a supervisory or charge role), a CA RN license, and BLS. A BSN or ADN with seven years of RN experience may be considered.

Qualifications

• 5 years RN experience, with at least 2 years acute care in area of responsibility.
• 1 year of recent Charge Nurse or other management/supervisory experience.
• California RN license (CA BRN) required.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Professionals required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of safe, high-quality nursing care and regulatory compliance.
• Provide leadership and act as resource, mentor and change agent for staff.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the patient care unit or department in coordination with leadership.
