Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Nursing Clinical Clerical to support both administrative duties and direct patient care in the Family Birth Place/LDRP unit. You will assist with data collection, charting, and daily patient care under the direction of an RN while helping keep the unit supplied and organized.

This role requires a High School Diploma or GED and BLS certification, plus basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Full BLS certification before or within the new hire period.
• Basic math and reading comprehension at an eighth-grade level.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under RN supervision.
• Assist with data collection and treatments.
• Perform administrative tasks for the unit.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition.
• Document activities in the patient care record.
• Assist with transporting and discharging patients.
• Transcribe and process all orders.
• Prepare and file charts, records and mail.
• Maintain inventory.
