Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital in Cleveland, OH is seeking an experienced RN for the Birthing Center to care for patients in labor, antepartum and postpartum with elevated risk. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement care plans and educate families, ensuring high-quality nursing care around the clock.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN, or BSN).
• BSN preferred.
• One year of current acute care RN experience or licensed military RN experience required.
• Labor and Delivery (L&D) experience preferred.
• Current state RN licensure and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update, and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document, and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.

About This Role

As an RN in the Birthing Center at Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital, you will provide exceptional care to patients in labor and delivery, as well as those undergoing elevated risk antepartum or postpartum. This role is ideal for nurses who are passionate about enhancing patient experiences and delivering healthcare education.

What You’ll Do

• Provide direct nursing care.

Requirements

Education

Experience

Licenses & Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross required.
