Qualifications

• KSAs required include range of nursing care, observation, and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Accurately monitor vital signs and conduct basic assessments.
• Perform non-complex procedures under supervision.
• Assist with complex mobility and safe patient handling.
• Document observations and communicate safety concerns promptly.

Education

One year above high school with nursing-related courses

Intensive nursing assistant coursework (<1 year)

Two years above high school in health care

Bachelor’s degree with 24 health care credits
