Responsibilities

• Assists RN with daily patient care including bathing, feeding, and ambulation.
• Record blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, intake/output, and daily weights in EMR.
• Perform rounding and communicate patient observations to RN.
• Assist in admission, transfer, discharge processes and room setup.
• Collect specimens and perform point-of-care testing as directed.
• Handle errands, stocking, and cleaning of nursing areas and equipment.
• Assist with patient positioning, transport, and dietary needs under RN supervision.
• Maintain skin integrity and provide necessary supplies and devices.
