Responsibilities

• Cares for patients as delegated by the registered nurse and assists with activities of daily living.
• Takes and records vital signs, height/weight, oxygen saturation; monitors and reports observations.
• Provides nutrition support, helps with meal ordering, tray setup and feeding as needed.
• Performs basic clinical procedures under supervision and follows policies for medication access.
• Assists with sitter duties as patient safety attendant after required competency.
• Supports orientation of new Nursing Assistants and participates in quality improvement activities.
