Job summary

Qualifications
- Must meet one of the following: 18 years of age OR 17 years of age with high school diploma or GED
- Successful completion of Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program OR completion of one semester of clinical rotations within an accredited nursing program OR completion of the Allina Health Nursing Assistant Academy Program
- Previous direct patient care experience
Responsibilities
- Performs personal care/interventions as assigned.
- Collects and documents vital signs and observations of patients.
- Assists patient with ambulation, transfer, positioning and ROM as ordered.
- Reports health status changes to the RN.
- Contributes to patient safety and uses proper body mechanics.
