Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to support patients and clinical staff in our Clinical Float Pool. This full-time, 12-hour night shift role offers learning opportunities and exposure to multiple hospital units.

You will assist with personal care, comfort, and basic nursing tasks under the supervision of licensed nurses, with flexibility to adapt to a varied schedule including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• CNA certification (Idaho) or Trinity Health Nursing Assistant Program required.
• CPR/BLS for Healthcare Providers required at hire.
• Six months CNA experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Ability to care for patients across all age groups (neonate to geriatric).

Responsibilities

• Assist with nursing care and patient comfort under licensed nurse supervision.
• Provide clerical, receptionist and patient service coordination at unit level.
• Support clinical staff and participate in patient care activities as needed.
