Job summary

ST. CHARLES HEALTH SYSTEM in Bend, OR, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for a full-time night position within our 24/7 care teams. The CNA will provide patient- and family-centered care, assist with ADLs, monitor vital signs, and maintain accurate EMR documentation while adhering to infection prevention standards.

The role supports the nursing staff, responds to call lights promptly, and contributes to a compassionate hospital experience under Oregon Board of Nursing guidelines.

Qualifications

• Provides patient and family focused care within the CNA scope.
• Assists with activities of daily living (ADLs) and maintains patient dignity.
• Records vital signs and promptly reports abnormalities to the nursing team.
• Maintains accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Follows infection prevention protocols and uses PPE appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with ADLs and personal hygiene.
• Promptly responds to patient call lights and communicates needs.
• Accurately measures and records vital signs and reports abnormalities.
• Assists with repositioning, ambulation, and transfers to ensure safety.
