Responsibilities

• Admissions, discharge and transfer responsibilities; room setup for new admissions; orient patients and families; document belongings and transfer processes.
• Provide patient care within scope and document daily care per unit standards; monitor telemetry where applicable; communicate changes in patient condition.
• Follow universal precautions; ensure patient safety; report hazards and injuries; manage safety procedures for equipment.
