Mercy is seeking a Night Shift Supervisor in the Medical Progressive Care Unit to coordinate patient placement and staff assignments while guiding clinical teams through shifts. Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience.
• Current RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• ACLS/ALS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, BLS, PALS, PEARS, STABLE, C-EFM or similar unit certifications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate placement of patients and staff assignments.
• Assist clinical staff with patient care and unit activities.
• Facilitate staff nurse attendance at meetings and training sessions.
• Interface with medical staff, patients and families as needed.
• Participate in unit quality improvement activities and education/orientation.
• Supervise clinical activities and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Manage unit operations in collaboration with the manager and budget control.
