Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Rhode Island.
• Baccalaureate in Nursing preferred.
• Ability to provide care to patients across the lifespan with age-related considerations.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care.
• Leads by delegating and supervising safe nursing care.
• Evaluates care effectiveness and identifies opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborates with healthcare team, patient, family and community services.
• Provides teaching based on patient and family needs.
• Participates in unit-based quality improvement and research.
• Maintains clinical competencies and completes required education (BLS/ACLS/PALS).
• Serves as role model/preceptor to new graduates.
• Assumes charge nurse responsibilities as delegated.
