Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited nursing program.
• Missouri RN license required and maintain current Missouri RN license and/or compact licensure.
• Three to five years hospital nursing experience.
• BLS and ACLS prior to orientation.
• Demonstrates strong human relations and communications

Responsibilities

• Acts as a clinical and administrative resource for staff.
• Represents Administration when Administrative presence is absent.
• Serves as the Patient Placement supervisor with admissions routed appropriately.
• Monitors ED throughput for every patient.
• Oversees staffing of inpatient nursing units based on census, acuity and staffing grids.
• Adjusts staffing accordingly to needs.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of information.
• Demonstrates clinical expertise across patient care processes.
