Job summary

Qualifications

• RN degree required; licensure to practice in RI or NLC-participating state.
• Demonstrates knowledge to care for patients across life span with appropriate cultural considerations.
• Strong interpersonal/negotiation/mediation skills and leadership in diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Place and move patients system-wide, expediting appropriate placements.
• Communicate with nursing operations to address throughput and staffing issues.
• Provide census updates to support transfer decisions and bed planning.
• Guide patient movement in ED, ICU, and post-acute units.
• Collaborate with CMAC leadership and Patient Flow Expediter to resolve barriers.
