Job summary

AdventHealth in Kissimmee, Florida is seeking a dedicated RN to lead a nursing unit at night. You will perform venous access procedures, administer infusion therapy, and develop patient care plans while mentoring staff to uphold clinical standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold RN licensure and provide leadership within the unit.
• Experience in acute care and nursing leadership preferred.
• Strong communication and mentoring skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead RN staff on the unit to ensure delivery of high-quality patient care.
• Perform venous access procedures within RN scope and ensure patient safety.
• Administer and monitor infusion therapy; adjust care plans as needed.
• Develop individualized care plans and educate patients on procedures.
• Monitor staff performance and provide feedback and coaching.
• Foster staff development through training and mentoring.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and analyze data for patient care improvements.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and hospital policies.
