Job summary

AdventHealth in Kissimmee, FL is seeking an experienced RN leader to oversee a clinical unit during night shifts. You will supervise venous access and infusion therapy, mentor staff, and drive quality improvement while ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires an Associate's Degree in Nursing with RN licensure; a Bachelor's degree is preferred. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver compassionate care and advance clinical outcomes in a busy acute

Qualifications

• RN license required and active licensure.
• 1+ charge nurse or leadership experience preferred.
• 1+ nursing experience in the acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform venous access procedures within RN scope, ensuring patient safety.
• Administer and monitor infusion therapy, adjusting care plans as needed.
• Assess patients to determine venous access methods and address complications.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for venous access and infusion therapy.
• Provide patient education on venous access and infusion therapy.
• Monitor nursing staff performance, provide feedback and conduct appraisals.
• Mentor staff, organize educational programs, and enhance skills.
• Resolve conflicts among staff to maintain a positive work environment.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and analyze data for better care.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and healthcare team.
• Mentor and precept new staff with hands-on training and feedback.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and hospital policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
