Intermountain Health Saint Joseph's Hospital is seeking a Nurse Clinical Leader to provide on-shift leadership and clinical guidance for a 36-hour, night-shift schedule. You will supervise bedside RNs, ensure staffing alignment with patient census, and support the unit’s quality and safety initiatives.

The role emphasizes staff development, precepting, and acting as a charge nurse while maintaining high professional standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing License to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution (degree will be verified).
• Registered Nurses (RNs) hired or promoted into this role must obtain their BSN within four years of hire or promotion.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support bedside RN staff during shift.
• Ensure staffing levels meet patient needs and unit KPIs.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead unit-based quality initiatives and staff development.
• Provide precepting and act as charge nurse on night shift.
• Manage unit resources and staffing decisions, including time-off approvals.
